Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to any server. Your notes are protected by iOS file-level encryption.
What happens if I delete the app?
All data is permanently deleted when you remove the app from your device. We recommend creating a backup before uninstalling (Pro feature).
Can I transfer data to a new device?
Yes. AfterSession Pro includes backup and restore functionality. Create a backup on your old device and restore it on your new one. Data is also included in iCloud device backups.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device, or use the subscription management option within the app's settings.
Is my data HIPAA compliant?
AfterSession stores all data locally on your device with iOS file encryption. Since no data is transmitted to or stored on external servers, there is no cloud-side HIPAA concern. However, you are responsible for securing your device and managing how you share exported files.
Can I use AfterSession on multiple devices?
You can install AfterSession on all your Apple devices with the same Apple ID. However, since data is stored locally, notes do not sync automatically between devices. Use backup and restore to transfer data.
